Free 80GB Hard Drive?

What the hell is Newegg thinking with this one?

Newegg.Free.80GB.HardDrive.03012011

Nobody wants an 80GB IDE hard drive…. I mean, nobody.

It’s actually not that bad of a deal…. I saw that online today, too. From my perspective, I use small drives as system drives for most machines and then use larger drives in storage arrays. lol… maybe I have a unique perspective, but I would use both.

I’m not saying it’s bad deal, but given the potential target market, consumers, many wouldn’t use an 80GB IDE drive for a system drive. If it was a 32GB SSD it’d be a spectacular deal and I would use the 32GB SSD for a system drive.
