Introducing iPad Pro Availability
Since its first availability date I had done the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6s Plus availability. For this year I continued with the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. That series ran for sixty five posts from September 12th through November 12th. During that time, I limited it to only the United States. With each of those there were 120 different phones, 12 per model, across five different companies (Apple plus the four US cell phone companies) per post to look into. While some of it was automated, the actually comparison was not.
For the iPad Pro, I thought I would change it up a bit. I have automated just about everything for this; excluding the comparison. The script that I have for gathering all of the information is run every two hours. There is some information in this web-app from the last few days already. The list of countries, as of right now, that are in the report are at the bottom of this post. More countries will be added as time goes on.
As a general 32GB Wifi-only models are 1 business day, 128GB Wifi and Wifi + Cellular models are 5 to 7 business days. The accessories, the Apple Pencil as well as the Smart Keyboard, are both 4 to 5 weeks for delivery. If you want to buy an Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard, it is best to order them now in order to arrive for the holidays.
