    Summer Class

Well, I'm not going to be taking a class over the summer, because the class I wanted to take, I was the only one who signed up. So, I guess I'll finish my certifications and possibly get a couple of Microsoft ones as well... we'll see..

    Webserver Update

Well this website is now running on my new Webserver. I was able to make it a secure webserver now. So the streaming music section should be secure. It might be a bit slower due to the processing time needed to process the SSL stuff.

So If there's something that's not working let me know.

I hope to get the members section back up soon... maybe

    Webserver Update

After many hours of frustration and irritation I got my new webserver parts and it's back up and running...

I have put a different Operating system on it. I'm going to try and setup a secure website so I can re-create my members section again... but we'll see how long that takes.

So for now my server will be running on my computer. Here are the specs for the new parts

    Biostar 6100-M Motherboard
    AMD Sempron 3100+ Socket 754 64-bit Processor
    Buffalo 1024 MB of RAM
    Maxtor 200GB SATA Drive

    Server Downtime

Well my webserver decided to take a dump off of the proverbial cliff, so It's been temporarily placed on my computer... it might be faster, let me know if anybody notices a difference.

I'm not sure what I will replace it with... most likely just some other parts which I will have to buy tomorrow. I'm not sure yet though..

    Cryptography

Cryptography contains the word 'cry'. Does anybody know why? Well, it's because it's such a pain in the ass, and so finicky that it will make you cry if you try and figure out what's wrong for too long. On wednesday during lab, we must have spent almost 2 hours trying to figure out why our cryptographic certificates weren't working. We figured out that it was the date and time mismatches, but they never stayed whenever we tried to put them in. One of my classmates finally figured it out.

and it's always fun when working with math and keys that are 512 bits long... but oh well..

    None

To Whom it may concern (you know who you are):

Nobody is ever who they say they are. Why must everybody put up a front and pretend to be something that they're not? It bothers me to no end when people do this. oh well, so much for actually trying to do anything nice for anybody and trying to protect people. It bothers me that everybody just thinks that I'm lying and trying to be controlling. Well nobody understands me. I wish people would get out of their fantasy worlds and jump into reality. We all have to grow up sometime, might as well be now.

Why doesn't anybody just be who they are? Why does everybody have to say one thing and do another? Why can't people just be honest anymore? I'm sick of everybody lying, trying to be manipulative and just being inconsiderate towards others feelings. I'm sick of people living in their fantasy worlds and not living in reality. It's time to wake up, grow up and see what the world is really like. It's not all fun and games.

All I ever try to do is protect people, but they don't see it as that, they think I'm trying to be controlling. well, guess what I'm not. I know what the true world is like, and sometimes, I think that people need to be shown what's it like so they're ready for it. But nobody sees it that way. I try and give people advice, they don't like it. I try to be helpful, they just ignore me.

So if you really need to know what I'm thinking or what my thoughts are, let me know. But I don't expect anybody to.

    Odd thing

For some reason, my router decided to restart itself. I haven't figured out why. It might have been overloaded with trying to open up the GUI for the router, but I don't know. I'll have to keep investigating to figure out why.

    Cisco Pix

Well I was offered the opportunity to buy a Cisco Pix 506E, but I turned it down. It's not that it wouldn't be nice to have. But I don't need to spend money on that right now. I need to save up so I can actually move out at some point. It was a good price too, but oh well. Like I said, I don't need it.

I do have a three day weekend this weekend, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'll figure out something.

I still can't take my certification exam like I wanted to, but oh well, I'll eventually take it.

Other than that, not much else is going on. I don't really have any news or anything to post.
