2010 was a year of many thing from Apple’s iPad to WikiLeaks. To Commemorate the end of 2010 I thought I’d give you a list of the top stories of 2010.

  • Age of the Solar System needs to be recalculated.
  • MSNBC purchased BreakingNews.com which has flourished.
  • The Google Nexus One was released in January followed by the Nexus S in December.
  • Netflix became a huge competitor in the streaming video space.
  • The Google Versus China standoff.
  • Haiti was hit by a 7.0 Earthquake that devastated the Nation, but donations were plentiful.
  • HTML5 became mainstream with YouTube.
  • Jammie Thomas’ RIAA Case continued.
  • WikiLeaks, WikiLeaks and more WikiLeaks.
  • The Apple iPad and the re-invigoration of the Tablet market.
  • Facebook has grown and re-designed a couple of times.
  • E-Readers, iBooks, and others make a splash with joined the party.
  • Three Tesla Engineers died in a plane crash.
  • ACTA, the Document that started WikiLeaks, is leaked.
  • Microsoft’s Comeback with Windows 7.
  • Scientists officially declare that an Asteroid wiped out the Dinosaurs .
  • The US Army dropped bayonets from their training.
  • The First Poisonous bird was discovered.

  • 3D Movies began showing in earnest, with at home options.
  • The Failing of the Pirate Party to enter Swedish Parliament.
  • Microsft’s Windows Phone 7 is released.
  • It was found that the Bubonic plague caused the Black Death.
  • iOS 4.2′s unification of the iOS devices.
  • Postulation arose that all life on Earth was from an Alien Race.
  • The Beatles were finally available for download.
  • Microsoft’s ‘Project Natal’ renamed Kinect was launched to huge success.
  • Hornets were found to be solar powered.
  • We found out that e-mail is protected by the Fourth-Amendment of the US Constitution.

Among the top stories are also some notable deaths, this is not a completely list of course, but it’s just a sampling
