Rant
Ok… I just saw a Digg.com story about a security breach at Western… 180,000+ affected students and faculty…. now… I don’t have the details (which doesn’t suprise me)… they wouldn’t want to have the details exposed… but from the comments, it’s the Bookstore / Union Hotel…. now my question is why haven’t these universities, with so much information taken stricter security measures previously? I mean, I know damn well how hard it is to fully secure anything… it’s not a just set and forget thing… it’s a constant moving, adapting, and re-evaluating…. but this is just an ignorant thing to ignore with so much data and information stored….
oh well… eventually nothing will be secure…. but we’ll still try….
